_{Drew awoke to the sound of people moving, talking. She tried to feign sleep as best she could. The cold, heartless satin wrapped around her felt dead. Her fingernails dug into the sheets as she lay perfectly still. She should be dead right now. Everything from the day before made her no better than a fucking ghoul.
Sleep. Sleep was all she needed. She just needed more sleep until she'd never even wake. Harsh sunlight seared her eyelids as her body turned to face the wall and window.
Drifting to sleep did not help. Drew felt terrible, but not a scratch dented her being. She needed fresh air, she needed to feel better. Cold tiled ground met her bare feet as she stood up. Her hair was pure black, void of pigmentation and certainly her pastel green from before. Drew couldn't bare to find a mirror. The curtain by her cot drug open, slowly. There were more voices and more visitors. If they had any vengeance to seek, all the better.}
